Keith Elzia, President
As President of ECS, Keith is responsible for overall company leadership, vision and growth. He is actively involved in key client relationships to ensure the ECS platform is maximized for the benefit of our client’s business and marketing objectives. His executive leadership experience is both welcomed and leverage by C-Level client officers and because of his extensive experience in technology, data optimization, strategy and complex supply chain logistics, he is often referred to as a true “Marketing Scientist”. Prior to founding ECS, Keith spent 26 years in the technology industry specializing in Enterprise Market Development, Global Innovation, Global Media Services, Marketing and Sales. He has held executive and officer roles at IBM, WamNet and Microsoft and has had geographical responsibility for North America, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany and Australia. Keith is a graduate of Western Illinois University with a B.S. in Applied Technology, Electrical Engineering.
Jim Miller, Senior Partner
As Senior Partner, Jim provides executive insight and experience supporting ECS in areas of leadership, long-term strategic planning, organizational structure and company growth. Our clients have greatly benefited because of Jim’s extensive background in both B:C and B:B marketing as well as his executive perspective and experience across a wide range of critical business issues. He also initiates ECS presentations with his broad array of C-level relationships in order to share the strength of our unique and proprietary 1:1 Platform. Prior to joining ECS, Jim refined his Marketing and General Management skills through executive positions at General Mills (Director New Business Ventures), Coca-Cola (Sr. VP General Manager), Busy Body Inc. (President & CEO), Ecolab (President Institutional Sector, President Global Specialty and Services Sector, and EVP & President Critical Global Initiatives). Jim received his JD from William Mitchell college of Law and his B.A. in Business Management from the University of Saint Thomas.
Al Brown, Chief Process and Innovation Officer
As Chief Process and Innovation Officer, Al is responsible for ensuring the process of integration of ECS capabilities and deliverables to our customers. He is also responsible for creating the major document templates required for operations and execution including Bus Dev presentations, RFP responses, SOW templates, Tier 1 Security certifications, CWS Technology implementation and resource management. Prior to joining ECS, Al spent 30 years at IBM in executive roles in Business Process, Program Management and Systems Engineering and he oversaw projects as IBM’s National Military Command System (NMCS) Support Group in the Pentagon supporting the Joint Chiefs of Staff data processing requirements. He has authored 3 IBM publications and been a featured speaker at major computer industry conferences. Al attended the University of Hawaii, University of Maryland and George Washington University in Washington, DC as a Computer Science Major. He completed IBM and non-IBM Technical Curriculums equivalent to a MS, Computer Science and he proudly served four years in the United States Air Force.
Taylor Miller, Partner & Vice President, Business Development
As Partner & Vice President Business Development, Taylor is responsible for the development of new business opportunities with our enterprise customers through a consultative approach that drives profitable solutions for our clients. He is also responsible for leveraging New Media Platform Integration capabilities for ECS and developing value-added partnerships. Prior to joining ECS, Taylor worked in several industries including Capital Finance, Product Development and International Public Eco-Friendly Power Solutions. Through his tenure with the NEXT Gen Syndicate, Pentair Inc. and International Decision Systems, he developed a unique expertise and perspective on finance as it relates to high value projects and product development with an international outlook. Taylor received his B.S. in Leadership and Management from the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business and also studied International Affairs at The George Washington University’s Elliot School of International Affairs.
Amy Hemer, Vice President, Enterprise Market Development
As Vice President, Enterprise Market Development, Amy is responsible for business development of key Enterprise clients. She leverages her executive consultative approach to highlight the value and ROI for our clients while bringing revenue and profit related solutions to market. Her clients consistently comment on the value and trust they put in her experience and insights. She is well versed in all aspects of marketing from communication strategies to business issues to developing revenue generating marketing solutions. Prior to joining ECS, Amy spent 23 years perfecting her relationship management leadership, consultative sales, business strategy and market development capabilities with top tier agencies including; JWT, Digitaria and RMG Connect. Many clients have benefited from her expertise including; UnitedHealth Group, 3M, Best Buy, Wells Fargo, Lifetime Fitness and RBC. Amy received her B.A. degree in Mathematics and Spanish from St. Olaf College and received professional training in Situational Leadership, Performance Driven Sales, Management and Training, and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.
Chuck Rath, Vice President, Enterprise Market Development
As Vice President, Enterprise Market Development, Chuck is responsible for the development and overall relationship management of ECS strategic accounts and he plays an integral role in new business presentations, client acquisition and the strategic development of client solutions leveraging the ECS 1:1 Platform. His broad business view and experience in Sales, Process Re-Engineering and Leadership, coupled with his keen consulting style ensures successful implementation of the ECS platform and maximum ROI for our clients. His deep experience and understanding of how to combine technology, people and internal process drives success for all ECS clients. Prior to joining ECS, Chuck spent 25 years in chief operations and marketing roles providing strategic and process solutions for; Xerox, RMG Connect, JWT, IKON Office Solutions, Nortell Networks and the Pentagon Department Of Defense. Chuck received his B.A. degree in Business and Marketing from Augsburg College and has professional training in Situational Leadership, Performance Driven Sales, Performance Driven Business, DiSC accreditation and Six Sigma.
Tim Smith, Vice President Marketing and Managing Director
As Managing Director, Vice President Marketing, Tim is responsible for developing strategic and innovative 1:1 marketing campaigns for our clients and is the “marketing strategy liaison” between ECS and our client’s marketing executives. He provides insight and direction for our creative development to ensure the strategic integrity and quality of client deliverables and is also responsible for ECS internal marketing, reviewing new product/service offerings and developing value-added partnerships. His extensive experience in B:C and B:B Marketing, Promotion and Innovation across a wide range of clients and industries is greatly appreciated by our clients marketing executives. Prior to joining ECS, Tim spent 30 years on the client and agency side of marketing and is recognized for his expertise in Marketing Strategy, Direct Marketing, Promotion, Innovation, New Product Development, and Alliance/Partnership Marketing. He has developed innovative marketing solutions for; General Mills, ConAgra, Nestle, Sony PlayStation, Nintendo, 3M, Best Buy, Target, Unilever, UHC, Coke Foods and multiple non-profits. Tim received his B.S. in Marketing from the University of Minnesota.
Clayton Lloyd, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Market Development
As Senior Vice President Enterprise Market Development, Clayton is responsible for driving business development for key ECS enterprise customers primarily in the financial, banking and credit card areas of business with a specific focus on Wells Fargo, Best Buy Financial Services and leading credit card issuers. His extensive background in the financial industry benefits our clients with his keen focus on providing both revenue and profit-related solutions as well as providing strong strategic insights to help create the most effective programs. Prior to joining ECS, Clayton enjoyed a lengthy and accomplished career at Wells Fargo & Company where he held executive positions in Branch Management, Marketing, Process Reengineering, Human Resources and finally as Senior Vice President and Executive Director of Corporate Supplier Diversity. Clayton received his B.S. and LL.B degrees from the University of California, Davis and is a Certified Performance Technologist.
Herb Stokes, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Market Development
As Senior Vice President Enterprise Market Development, Herb is responsible for driving business development with our enterprise customers through a consultative approach to bring both revenue and profit related solutions to market. Prior to joining ECS, Herb spent the first 23 years of his career with Allied Van Lines where he served as the EVP of Quality Management. His entrepreneurial efforts started with the creation of Alliance Relocation Services (the first minority owned and certified corporate relocation company) and continued with the creation of several successful new businesses including; The Affluence Group (TAG), Aerospace Management Systems, Pure Environment Services, LifeLink Data and Liber Abaci (the first African American Actuarial company. Herb has been featured in Crain’s Chicago Business, Black Enterprise and INC magazine. He served on Obama’s Chicago Finance Election Committee, and served on the Chicago & Seattle Minority Supplier development Corporate Board Council and was Chairperson of the Chicago Minority business Advocacy Committee. Herb received his education at Rutgers University.
Mitchell Sledge, Senior Director, Data Integrated Solutions
As Senior Director Data Integrated Solutions, Mitchell is responsible for the data analytics of the ECS platform working with our clients and partners in the data discovery and selection process. He is the central interface with key data business partners in the data refinement process from assisting customers in the initial selection through the development of the data cloning solution. He also plays an integral role for ECS data security structure and implementation and is responsible for all internal technological requirements and data needs and requirements. Prior to joining ECS, Mitchell spent 22 years honing his expertise in Enterprise Technology Solutions by working with the leading technology providers including; IBM, EMC Corp, Microsoft, Silicon Graphics and United Health Technologies. Mitchell received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and holds several technology certifications covering Computer Systems, Storage, Cloud Computing and Big Data.
Art Bunten, Director Data Analytics
As Director Data Analytics, Art is responsible for the control and management of all data analytics needs and requirements for ECS including proposal development, statements of work, and testing plan structure and design. He is the interface between ECS and our client’s data analytics teams as well as with our strategic business partners. He works closely with our clientsin defining their “Best Customer” characteristics and attributes in order to facilitate our Cloning process and to finalize the ECS 1:1 Solution. Prior to joining ECS, Art’s illustrious career included; President of Arken Technology, Inc. (where he developed the long-term direction of technology solutions), Global Development Manager at Sabre (where he directed multiple multinational development organizations responsible for the development and deployment of global technology solutions), and Software Engineer at Texas Instruments (responsible for the development and support of object oriented automation applications for semi-conductor manufacturing). Art received his MS in Computer Science and his MBA at Stephen F. Austin State University.
Chris Marshall Senior Creative Director
As Senior Creative Director, Chris is responsible for overseeing all ECS creative deliverables to ensure strategic and creative consistency and quality across multiple communication channels (E-Video, Direct Mail, Email and Interactive). His prime area of focus also involves the end-to-end development and production of ECS E-Videos including scripts, content, casting, direction and production. Prior to joining ECS, Chris honed his extensive background in marketing, creative strategy, directing, production and post-production over 25 years working in broadcast and digital media. He has directed more than 400 commercials and won 14 internationally recognized awards for his creativity, innovative ideas and creative directing. He co-founded Hank Studios serving clients in Vancouver, Toronto and the USA and was also Senior Creative Director at Corus Entertainment. His work has benefited top-tier clients including; Unilever, P&G, General Mills, Mattel, Crayola, Hasbro, MGA Entertainment, Kraft and Partnerships BC. Chris received his B.A. in Radio & Television Arts.
Dylen Postnikoff, Director Production & Multi-Cultural Insights
As Director Production & Multi-Cultural Insights, Dylen is responsible for production management for ECS creative deliverables with a primary focus on managing the logistics and staff associated with E-Video development and production. She also provides insights and analysis into the Multi-Cultural audience driving direction and guidance for ECS creative deliverables. Prior to Joining ECS, Dylen spent 20 years expanding her skills in business development, marketing, communications and digital production. In addition to being a Broadcast and Interactive Producer with Corus Entertainment, Dylen was also a Documentary Producer covering gender identity roles and cultures on a Global level. She was the Co-Founder/CEO of LullaBoom Online Community Sites, and also co-founded Hank Studios serving clients in Vancouver, Toronto and the USA. She is recognized in the industry for her innovative and creative solutions that drive sales and profits for her clients including; Unilever, General Mills, Mattel, Kraft, Scotiabank, P&G and Alberto. Dylen received her honors degree in International Relations and her Masters in Political Science from York University Toronto, Canada.
Mark Campbell, Senior Creative Director Interactive Web/Media Solutions, IT Project Manager
As Senior Creative Director Interactive Web/Media Solutions and IT Project Manager, Mark is responsible for a variety of technology and creative solutions and he is the lead internal creative resource assisting in the development and execution of presentations and ECS marketing materials. His technological expertise ensures our clients experience seamless implementation of our E-Video solution and interactive campaigns as well real-time analytics for program deliverables. He also supports ECS data security structure and implementation, internal technological requirements and time-sensitive data requirements. Prior to joining ECS, Mark spent 15 years developing his creative and technological expertise with PC and Mac operating systems for brand development and 3D animation for multiple clients including GM, Calvin Klein, Toyota, Honda and the F/X TV Series. Mark earned his degree in 3D Design Development and Deployment from the University of Toronto and a degree in Web Design and Advanced Graphic Design from George Brown College.
Melloney Campbell Senior Program Manager
As Senior Program Manager, Melloney is responsible for managing overall resources and deliverables for major programs involving multiple projects. She leads the ECS team in garnering key attribute information from the clone that impacts our 1:1 Data Driven Creative, is responsible for implementing the rollout and performance of our print and E-Video platform, and is a lead contributor in all phases of the creative development and execution process. Prior to joining ECS, Melloney spent 15 years perfecting her creative and project management skills at Corus Entertainment, CBC, Leo Burnett and StartUP Canada. She is known for her expertise in digital media, direct marketing, website design and maintenance, and broadcast promo productions. Melloney received her Web Design Development degree from Humber College and received her Postgraduate certificates in rich Media Platform/Solutions and Project Management. She also received Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute where she is an active member.
Ashley Becker, Senior Project Manager
As Senior Project Manager, Ashley is responsible for managing and directing the activities of the project development team and establishes project work plans, estimates and detailed scheduling. She coordinates activities with the client project development team as needed and is responsible for managing time, scope, budget, organizational staffing and directing company resources. She has sight into all components of the ECS 1:1 Platform and manages the integration logistics for all components. Prior to joining ECS, Ashley refined her project management skills in the digital marketing arena with Digitaria (WPP), Carmichael Lynch and Space 150. She has excelled in managing highly complex projects involving multiple communication channels. Client’s benefiting from her organization and attention to detail include; UnitedHealthcare, Lifetime Fitness, IRONMAN, Dairy Queen, American Express, Subaru, H&R Block, Jack Links, Supervalu and Cascadian Farms. Ashley studied Urban Design and Sustainability at Temple University Tokyo, Japan and received her B.S. in visualization from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
Don Nowlin, Sr. Director Print Production, Postage Optimization & Data Solutions
As Senior Director Print Production, Postage Optimization & Data Solutions, Don is responsible for providing leadership in developing and implementing Data Optimization for Postage for our enterprise clients. He is the liaison between ECS and our data partners for all data solutions and is actively involved in the clone data process and developing strategic printing partnerships. His expertise and experience in the science of combining print and technology has tremendously benefited ECS clients. Prior to joining ECS, Don’s 40 year career was focused in the area of graphics technology, digital media, print production and direct marketing. Don was President of Colorcraft and in executive roles at the Tandy Corporation and Kordet (which became Applied Graphics Technology). After graduating from the US Navy War College, Don’s military career included training in Cryptography, Data Processing, Analytics and Radar Technology and he was awarded several high-level security clearances.
Peggy Lindner, Director, Business Development
As Director, Business Development, Peggy is responsible for business development of key clients in the Western Region and for coordinating and managing the execution of their programs. She is also responsible for researching and securing key partnerships for the Printing component of the ECS Platform and is a key resource for our proprietary Data Optimization for Postage service. Her depth of printing experience combined with her innovative flair has benefited ECS clients with unique printing format solutions. Prior to joining ECS, Peggy spent over 25 years in the printing and management fields and honed her knowledge and experience with AIG SunAmerica, Wachovia, Getty Museum and Museum of Contemporary Art in LA. Peggy received her B.A. in Sociology from Arizona State University, has taught printing basics to design students at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and holds management positions of Diversity Director and FSC manager in the printing industry.
Michael J. Miller, Corporate Counsel
As Corporate Counsel, Mike is responsible for managing all ECS corporate legal affairs and supervising all regulatory and confidentiality compliance responsibilities to ECS clients and governmental authorities. Because of his extensive experience, ECS and our clients also benefit from his general business management insights. Prior to joining ECS, Mike spent 40 years in the legal profession gaining high level expertise in employee compensation, benefits and labor relations and the insurance industry. He also served in senior legal and management capacities for international insurance brokers, created environmental insurance programs for large investment banks and has been retained by state insurance regulators to consult in insurance company receiverships. Mike received his JD degree from William Mitchell College of Law and his B.S. with distinction from the University of Minnesota.
Theresa Palmer, Financial Accounting Manager
As Financial Accounting Manager, Theresa is responsible for managing financial matters related to ECS including; Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Tax Accounting, Forecast Assistance and all related financial support for ECS.
